Central 社区 College offers academic transfer programs specifically designed to provide the first two years of a four-year degree.

In 2019-20 the number of students receiving an Academic Transfer Award reached its highest point in the last five years, with 197 students awarded. The average number of awards received by students from 2018-19 to 2022-23 was 185.

Nebraska Transfer Initiative

CCC is one of 24 Nebraska colleges that signed the Nebraska Transfer Initiative in 1995, agreeing to accept a common core of 34 semester-hours of credit completed at any of the participating colleges. The Nebraska Transfer Initiative is designed to smooth the transfer process for community college graduates who want to complete a bachelor’s degree.

Transfer Agreements

Through specific transfer agreements with individual institutions, students completing associate of arts or associate of science degrees can transfer up to 66 semester-hours of credit earned at Central 社区 College to many four-year colleges. 

NACRAO Agreement

Central 社区 College is a signatory of the NACRAO (Nebraska Association of College Registrars and 招生 Officers) Agreement. 学生 who complete specified liberal arts courses may apply them toward the general studies program requirements for a degree at other participating Nebraska colleges. Transfer Outcomes

Over the past few years, academic transfer graduates have transferred successfully to 21 public and private four-year colleges in Nebraska and more than 50 out-of-state colleges.

Follow-up studies show that graduates of Central 社区 College academic transfer programs are well prepared to continue their education following graduation. 学生 transferring to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 作为一个群体, achieve overall grades comparable to other juniors and seniors who attended 多人 for their first two years of college.

Subsequent Enrollment of 2020-21 ACTR Graduates

The table below depicts the subsequent enrollment of 2020-21 academic transfer graduates after their graduation. It shows that 88 percent of graduates successfully transferred to different four-year institutions, 7 percent transferred to different 2-year schools, and 5 percent continued their education at CCC.
